Today the first of the Chilean Miners that were trapped after a mine collapse this summer will come to the surface. Here is the

I preused a couple of articles yesterday about the order of who would come out first and how their families on the surface were squabbling with each other but this is the most important part, their return. The picture below is of the capsule they will be retrieved in, this was during a test.

It has been 68 days, which is impressive since early estimates said it could take 3-4 months to get them out. Just a great story about humans and still, for me the most impressive aspect is how they survived for 17 days before first contact with the surface and they did it on 2-days worth of food. Just incredible!
